Blood Tests

Monitoring the health of your pet is crucial, as they may not exhibit visible signs of illness.

Blood tests provide the veterinarians with an inside look at your dog’s overall health. Blood work is recommended and/or necessary before surgery to reduce the risk of a general anesthetic. Blood work is also used to monitor the body’s systems when on long-term medications.

How do I interpret my dog’s blood test results?

Your veterinarian will read the results, and after reviewing your pet’s health and concerns will explain the results to you.
